Days are dwindling

It is never good for those who wish to ignore their last remaining days, to realize that the days are progressing and coming full tilt no matter what.

I'm not going to count down my last eleven days such as a student would before spring break but here I am reminded of how temporary the days happen to be.

While I look forward to my next great adventure in New Mexico, I'm deeply saddened to leave this ranch when over a year of my young life has been greatly shaped by the land, people, and cows.

My car is waiting for me to pack it like when I left Warren Wilson College a year and three months ago. Ready to be filled with only what is necessary and special.

I'm ready mentally to start the clean up and packing adventure but my heart is not giving in, quite yet.
